Membership

A club information flyer is available for the benefit of new members of GARS, new hams to the area and the general public a PDF version is available online for printing.
To apply for membership to GARS or to update your membership information (mailing address, callsign, e-mail address), please complete the GARS application form (PDF). Family memberships are available, please provide details on the reverse of the application form.

You may print and bring the completed form with $45 ($55 for family membership) to the next GARS monthly meeting, executive board meeting, or mail it to:
P.O. Box 140383, Gainesville, FL 32614.

Dues are due by January 1st. Dues are delinquent by April 1st.

GARS has a group email that the members use to communicate within the club. We use this to notify the club of events and things going on with the club and local ham radio stuff. If you are interested, here are the instructions to join our club email.

Send a blank email to K4GNV+subscribe@groups.io. In response you will receive an invitation to join K4GNV (you should receive the invite soon after you send the email so if you do not see it in your inbox then check your spam folder and mark the message as not spam) then follow the instructions and you will receive another email confirming that you have joined the group.

To send email to the group use the address: K4GNV@groups.io and the message will be sent to all members who have joined the group. Only group members can send messages to the group.

Once you get it setup, feel free to ask the group questions or reply to emails.
